Report – Manchester United prepared to pay £14,000 a week to secure playmaker exit

This month, Manchester United has already loaned out a lot of players; as of right now, Amad Diallo may depart ahead of schedule.

Football Insider reports that Sunderland is making moves to sign the Red Devils’ Ivorian international.

Diallo was signed by the Old Trafford team in 2021 from Atalanta; however, he has only made 10 professional appearances for the team and is presently paid £28,000 per week.

Football Insider reports that Man Utd is willing to pay half of the African playmaker’s salaries, or £14,000 per week, and that the Black Cats must pay the remaining balance to finalise the trade.

The 21-year-old winger, who was on loan from Sunderland, started 27 Championship games last year and had a direct 16 goal contribution.

But Diallo has mostly been out this season due to injuries, and since his comeback, he has only played once, which was in the team’s 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest last month.

The teenage player has personally requested permission from the 20-time English champions to transfer to Tyneside on loan, according to another story that Football Insider published yesterday.

Diallo has played just thirty-six minutes this season and must go in order to play regularly for the first team. Do you think Ten Hag should fulfil the player’s request and move him to Sunderland?
