After spending a lot of money to acquire Antony, Manchester United wants the Brazilian gone and is trying to replace him with Ousmane Dembele from PSG.

The Red Devils are willing to let go of Antony at the conclusion of the season and want to try to sign Dembele, according to a Spanish source named Todo Fichajes.

Before Barca decided to spend a significant sum of money to get the French international to replace Neymar in 2017, the player was a phenomenon in Germany with Borussia Dortmund.

The 26-year-old possesses talent, but regrettably, his time in Spain was marred by injury.

He only started 16 La Liga games for the Catalan giants last season and missed a good number of games because of a hamstring injury.

Under Luis Enrique, Dembele has made 22 appearances across all competitions but has only scored once since joining PSG during the summer transfer window.

In this case, it’s said that the Ligue 1 winners are prepared to profit from his sale because they are aware that Manchester United is considering an offer.

In order to sell the World Cup winner, the French giants are prepared to agree to a price of £42.6 million (50 million euros) plus add-ons.

Dembele is a demonstrated excellent playmaker who can be used anywhere in the attacking third. So far this season, he has contributed eight assists.

What say you? Should Manchester United offer more than £42.6 million to sign him?
