‘Really good’: Micah Richards left blown away by £47m Manchester United player vs Tottenham yesterday

Pundit Micah Richards was really pleased with one of Manchester United’s performances during yesterday’s draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

Erik ten Hag will likely be happy with the outcome of what turned out to be a very close match; his team could have easily won or lost.

The manager will undoubtedly concede that a draw was a fair result, even though he may still regret Scott McTominay’s late head miss.

Most United supporters were impressed by the efforts of Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund, two players who have significantly improved.

Both forwards showed off how much more polished they appear when they are feeling certain and confident about their abilities.

Micah Richards for Man United against Tottenham was impressed by a very other player, though.

Speaking on the podcast “The Rest Is Football,” Richards expressed how impressed he was with Bruno Fernandes’ output.

ADVANCED STORIES OF MANCHESTER UNITED

Richards believed the £47 million midfielder set an exemplary example with his performance, putting his feelings into his diligent work.

The commentator was chatting with Gary Lineker, who shared his opinions but also brought up one issue.

Bruno Fernandes of Man United gets praised by Micah Richards for his Tottenham performance.

“You know who I thought was really good today, but not really on the ball but off the ball, Fernandes,” Richards stated in a podcast interview. I thought he had a great attitude.

“I just felt his overall mentality today was superb. There were occasions when Spurs were on the counterattack and he was running back and setting an example.

“I know he is one of the league’s finest creators and is always very imaginative, but occasionally he gets a little passionate, so you don’t really talk about the quality of his game. But to me, his work rate was what really stood out.

“He is very talented,” Lineker retorted. He is quite fortunate. However, as you mentioned, when things are not going well, he occasionally loses the plot.

There remains to be done.

Even though Richards and others are correct to commend Fernandes of United for his performance against Tottenham, much work remains.

It still appears that Ten Hag’s team is just focusing on one game after another, and their displays don’t seem to be conveying a cohesive message or attitude.

Even though the transfer window isn’t the only solution, maybe some progress may be achieved before the month is done.

Nevertheless, Roy Keane has already singled out one player who had a great deal of desire last night.
