Sport – Man Utd willing to agree signing of £154million star

Although they are not in a position to draw the top players in the world, Manchester United is nevertheless connected to them.

The most talked-about transfer story in the media right now is Kylian Mbappe’s uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain.

According to a recent story by The Times, the French international has turned down the opportunity to join Real Madrid and would instead rather sign with a Premier League team.

Furthermore, it was reported by the well-known Spanish publication Sport (news image below) that the PSG player may hold negotiations to consider the English clubs’ offers in the upcoming weeks.

According to the Catalan news source, if the financial situation is not unaffordable, teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea would be open to signing Mbappe.

Although the 25-year-old is worth 180 million euros (£154 million) on the market, he is free to sign a pre-contract this month with teams outside of France.

The World Cup-winning playmaker will cost a lot of money, even if he were to sign for free.

According to Sport, Mbappe will have to put in work on his own, i.e., to reduce demands, since no team will give him the money that Paris is offering.

The former Monaco player earns over 75 million euros a season, making him one of the most paid celebrities in the world (The Athletic).

To be fair, Manchester United needs to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in order to have any chance of luring Kylian Mbappe.

United placed last in the CL group this season, and given their current standing and performance in the Premier League, it appears improbable that we will compete in Europe’s top competition the next season.
