Man United have golden chance to sign ‘unstoppable’ £32m star, he’s better than Amrabat

As negotiations for Sofyan Amrabat drag on, Manchester United could try to recruit Ibrahim Sangare from PSV Eindhoven.

As a cheaper alternative to the Moroccan international, the 25-year-old PSV midfielder seems a better fit for Man United.

Sanagre’s current contract includes a release clause worth €37 million (£32 million), according to ESPN in Holland.

And for a player of the calibre of the Ivory Coast international, United manager Erik ten Hag should have no second guess about signing him.

Negotiations with Fiorentina are apparently challenging, despite the Red Devils’ desire to sign Amrabat this summer.

The 26-year-old’s transfer to United is not worth what the Italian club is asking for.

Even though Sangare would cost more than Amrabat, he would offer much greater value than the Moroccan.

Manchester United needs to quit pursuing. The person who may elevate United to a new level might be Sofyan Amrabat Sangare. He is a defensive midfielder who might cover for Casemiro and challenge him, but he could also team up with the Brazilian.

With his tremendous pace, power, and ball-carrying ability, the Ivorian is a real threat moving forward and can play the box-to-box role with ease.

He recorded eight goals and three assists in 45 games last season, and he already has one goal and one assist this campaign.

According to the current Benfica manager Roger Schmidt, Sangare will be “unstoppable” in 2021 (Dutch media outlet ED). He’s correct as well; the PSV star is among the top players in the world at his particular position in football.

Watch this contrast between Sangare and Amrabat. While they both played a similar number of minutes last season, the PSV player had an advantage over the Fiorentina midfielder in five of the following seven categories:

Since Sanagre is a year younger than Sofyan Amrabat, choosing to sign him this summer should be simple for Ten Hag.

But there is something to keep in mind: in the pursuit of the PSV star, United won’t have it all their own way.

ESPN in Holland reports that the midfield behemoth has interest from Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Nottingham Forest.

The Red Devils must move soon if they are serious about signing the Ivorian. Sangare is capable of leading Ten Hag’s side to the promised land.

The notion of a midfield triangle consisting of the 6′ 3″ star, Casemiro, and Bruno Fernandes is intriguing because he is well suited to the roughness and pace of the Premier League.
