If reports are to be believed, Manchester United is getting closer to making their fourth transfer of the current summer transfer window.

Erik ten Hag wants to add another defensive midfielder, and he prefers Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat, as has already been widely reported.

They have been friends since their FC Utrecht days, and the Moroccan has even acknowledged in the past that the Dutch coach is largely to thank for his success.

United to Amrabat is getting closer
The player’s entourage has reportedly arrived in Manchester to finalise the deal, according to a recent report from Football Insider.

According to sources cited by Football Insider, Sofyan Amrabat’s agents have arrived in Manchester in preparation for a potential transfer to Man United.

The asking price is expected to be around £30 million, and a bid is anticipated to be submitted right away.

The United manager saw how his team struggled last season while Casemiro was out due to suspension and realised the necessity of adding another defensive midfielder.

Amrabat was a revelation for both club and country last season, helping Morocco finish fourth at the World Cup and leading his club team to the UEFA Conference League final.

The 26-year-old midfielder is being actively pursued by Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli, according to a recent report in The Peoples Person.

Amrabat is desperate to move to United.
However, the Moroccan international is reportedly rejecting the higher salary offer because he only has eyes for Manchester United.

According to the majority of reports, a transfer has already been finalised on personal terms, leaving only the structure of add-ons to be decided.

Amrabat has been linked to teams like Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and even West Ham.

Before finalising a deal for the Moroccan, United are expected to agree to a departure for Fred and perhaps Donny van de Beek, but right now, everything is looking good.
