Manchester United is working to close their second transaction of the summer after securing the acquisition of Mason Mount from Chelsea.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image below), Onana’s move to Old Trafford has caused Inter Milan to totally focus on Romelu Lukaku.
According to a reputable Italian media site, Man Utd will only accept an initial offer of 45 million euros with an additional 5 million euros in add-ons although the asking price was initially 60 million euros.
However, the discussions went on for hours and hours, and the two groups came to an agreement on all the problems in the area.
First, a payment plan agreement was reached. The former Barcelona player’s transfer fee will be paid in four payments.
Second, the agreement on how the clubs will divide the solidarity payment. Third, a 5 million euro bonus bonus agreement was made.
Finally, in order to come near to Inter’s assessment of Onana, United decided to pay the set cost of 50 million euros (55 million euros total).
Soon after receiving the “Ok” from the Nerazzurri, Onana will sign the defining contract to join Manchester United.
Is the Cameroonian international good enough, in your opinion, to finally succeed the club’s reigning PL Golden Glove winner David De Gea?
