Man United eye move for “insane” 6ft3 ace alongside Mount, he’d easily surpass Martial

Adama Bojang, a young striker, is a target for Manchester United this summer as Erik ten Hag looks to improve his attacking options.

What’s new with Adama Bojang moving to Manchester United?
On Twitter, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on Manchester United’s pursuit of the 19-year-old, writing: “Manchester United are among clubs now showing interest in Gambia talent Adama Bojang.

“Understand that RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are working hard to finalise a deal for Bojang, who is regarded as a huge talent.”

This summer, Ten Hag has his eye on Mason Mount as well. Although United’s third offer for the Chelsea star was rejected, it might not be long before a deal is reached.

Anthony Martial at Manchester United might be replaced by Adama Bojang.
The Dutchman should make improving United’s attacking options a top priority before the upcoming season, especially in light of the fact that only two teams in the top half of the standings scored fewer goals than them in 2022–23, which may have prevented them from mounting a sustained Premier League title challenge. Overall, the Red Devils scored 58 goals, 36 fewer than champion Manchester City.

Martial only registered six league goals while ranking only sixth in shots per game (1.3) and second in big chance missed (eight), indicating that he was not particularly efficient in front of goal.

His future at Old Trafford is uncertain, and with only a year left on his £250,000 per week contract, Ten Hag might have to let him go this summer for a bargain price to get him off the payroll. However, a lot will depend on whether he can sign another top-tier forward.

Bojang isn’t quite in the same league as targets like Rasmus Hojlund and Victor Osimhen, but because of his fiercely aggressive playing style and ability to terrify opposing defences with his direct approach, he has earned the moniker “Gambian Hurricane.”

His best performances have come on the international stage, scoring six goals in just eight games for the Gambia U20 team. He currently plays for Steve Biko FC in Gambia, and in the quarterfinals of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations, he scored an outstanding hat-trick against Sudan.

He added to his already-impressive resume by scoring twice in four U20 World Cup games. Antonio Mango, a U23 scout, recently praised him as having “insane talent,” which raises the possibility that he will be a great addition to Ten Hag.

There is no reason why he can’t beat Martial at the Old Trafford side if he settles in well and shows the talent to succeed in England.
