According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in an exclusive interview with GIVEMESPORT, Manchester United “really appreciate” Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur.

Both the center-forward and the offensive midfielder have been widely connected with moves to Old Trafford, and according to Romano, the latter is the “perfect” number nine for the Red Devils.

Mason Mount and Harry Kane are recent additions at Man United.

The transfer of Chelsea’s Mount to United appears imminent. The 24-year-old has already agreed to personal terms with the Manchester team, claims The Telegraph.

The Times reported in the previous month that Mount’s current employers value him at roughly £70 million.

Kane, another member of the England team, is also rumoured to be a target for United, according to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook, who recently told GIVEMESPORT that the Three Lions captain is Erik ten Hag’s preferred choice.

If Tottenham decides to sell its talisman this summer, another rumour from The Times claims that they will demand at least £100 million for him.

What has Fabrizio Romano stated on Harry Kane, Mason Mount, and Manchester United?

According to Romano, United are big fans of Kane and Mount, particularly the latter.

The journalist stated, “I would say that they are two players that they really appreciate at Manchester United,” in an interview with GIVEMESPORT. Harry Kane is unquestionably regarded as the ideal striker for their brand of game and Erik ten Hag, so they see him as the ideal player.

How did Harry Kane and Mason Mount fare this season in the Premier League?

Given his struggles to keep in shape, Chelsea star Mount didn’t exactly have the ideal season. According to Transfermarkt, he only managed to score three goals overall in 24 appearances. Kane, on the other hand, was in fantastic shape. In fact, it seems like his accomplishments have slipped under the radar a bit due of the heroics of Manchester City attacker Erling Haaland.

The 29-year-old was able to score 30 goals in 38 appearances (also according to Transfermarkt). As a result, Tottenham finished the season in eighth place and was unable to advance to the European football competition. He has nevertheless demonstrated that he is still without a doubt among the world’s top attackers.

Kane’s high demand at Old Trafford is therefore not surprising, though persuading Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to sell won’t be simple.

As for Mount, he at least appears reachable, and as he approaches Chelsea’s exit door, you would now anticipate United to sign him.
