Many teams, including Manchester United, have apparently been contacted over Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic.
The Red Devils have “been made aware,” according ESPN, of the Blues attacker’s “likely fee and salary.”
Along with Manchester United, teams like Newcastle, Napoli, AC Milan, and Galatasaray are reportedly also contenders.
With Chelsea, Pulisic has had trouble securing a starting position. This is true even if he was referred to be a “superstar” when playing for Stamford Bridge.
Only 10 of the 24-year-old’s starts have come for the Blues this year. From 30 games, he has played football for slightly over a thousand minutes.
As they get ready for their Champions League comeback, Man United is apparently searching for attacking reinforcements.
Pulisic is high on Chelsea’s list of prospective exits, according to ESPN.
The appointment of Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t appear to have caused the club to change its mind about the American.
After spending £585 million on new players during the previous year, the Blues must cut the size of their squad and salary expenditure.
Manchester United may score a deal for themselves. Pulisic may be available for just £20 million, according to Chelsea.
Of course, the article does state that Juventus are the current front-runners to sign him.
They appear to be ‘unwilling’ to match Pulisic’s pay at Stamford Bridge, though. He makes £150,000 every week, according to Spotrac.
The pay of the American international should be matched by Man United, and maybe increased.
A change of scenery would be very beneficial for Pulisic, a top talent. Could Old Trafford be the place he kickstarts his career again?
