Could cost £0: Man Utd enter race to sign “crazy” player with Old Trafford “dream”

Marcus Thuram will “soon decide” his future, according to a report from Calciomercato (via Sport Witness), and Manchester United will compete with a number of other clubs to sign him this summer.

Marcus Thuram is a new addition to Manchester United.
Despite his team’s inability to move up into the top half of the Bundesliga standings and their current position of eleventh, the Borussia Monchengladbach player has arguably had his best season of his career thus far.

The player has so far this year contributed 0.70 goals on average per 90 minutes, which is an impressive feat for the forward with 13 goals and 6 assists. Despite only making nine starts and scoring three goals during his underwhelming season last year, that is the case.

In Germany, he has recently returned to form, and his performances are drawing attention. Despite only playing 149 minutes combined during the World Cup and European Championship, his performances have even earned him appearances for France.

Before the summer transfer window, there now seems to be serious interest in the player. Calciomercato (via Sport Witness) reports that Inter and Manchester United are among the clubs interested in the attacker.

The Red Devils entering the picture has increased the competition for the player, who had previously been considered the favourite to sign with the Italian team when the season ends. It also states that Thuram will soon make a decision about where he wants to play after this season, and it appears that he may have a choice as to where he plays football the following year.

That means he might be available for nothing since his contract is also about to expire.

The forward may have a hard time deciding, as reports claim that he is interested in joining a “dream club” that includes both Inter and the Premier League’s top teams. Thuram then seems to be faced with a challenging decision regarding his upcoming transfer deal.

The summer transfer market for Marcus Thuram has begun.
With a 7.10 WhoScored rating in the Bundesliga this season, the Frenchman is one of the division’s standout performers, and his performances in Germany have catapulted him into the limelight.

Denis Zakaria has also previously called him “crazy,” and his former teammate has added that he is a “phenomenal” player – and the numbers don’t lie.

This year, he has taken 3.1 shots per game on average, demonstrating his ability to create his own shooting opportunities and his ability to be effective when he does. In fact, among players who have made at least 18 appearances, he takes the most shots of any Bundesliga player.

Thuram could therefore be a good addition for Erik ten Hag’s team if they were able to secure him, giving their forward line some much-needed goals.
