Man Utd now want to sign “world class” £113m star; he’s dreaming of Old Trafford move

Victor Osimhen of Napoli is reportedly being pursued by Manchester United this summer, and moving to Old Trafford is his “dream” transfer, according to a recent development.

What recent news regarding transfers at Man United?

Man United is reportedly still interested in signing Goncalo Ramos from Benfica despite the Portuguese club’s acceptance that they will lose him at the end of the current season. Man United have set their sights on acquiring a new striker this summer.

Erik ten Hag is reportedly most interested in Lautaro Martinez, with the Red Devils prepared to pay £60 million to sign him for the upcoming campaign. Inter Milan might be compelled to accept this offer.

Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur is another option for United. It was recently claimed that they are planning to make the England captain a priority target because they think he can help them regain their title-contending status.

Sport Witness has transmitted a report from Italy that Man United are gearing up to sign Osimhen, and the player himself is reportedly drawn to the proposal. Ten Hag has identified a number of targets for the summer.

It would be the Nigerian’s “dream” move to come to Old Trafford, but actually obtaining him is where things get challenging, as Napoli is expected to demand €130 million (£113 million) plus bonuses to authorise his departure.

Additionally, teams like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain will pose fierce challenge.

Osimhen has how many goals to his credit?

With 28 goals across all competitions this season, including 23 in Serie A, the 24-year-old has been in outstanding form for Napoli. He is now ahead of Martinez in the all-time goal scoring lists.

The marksman, who has been hailed as “world-class” by the media, has been instrumental in Napoli’s Serie A title-winning season, therefore it is not surprising that a number of clubs are vying for his services.

However, £113 million is a substantial sum and would be a club record at Old Trafford, especially in light of the possibility that Kane may be had for less given the rumour that Daniel Levy may be open to offers above £100 million.

Osimhen would still be a terrific addition, but Kane, who has established himself in the Premier League over many seasons, would be a stronger target this summer.
