“Outrageous…” – Reporter stunned at “leaks” on what Sheikh Jassim could now do at Man United

The transfer plans of Sheikh Jassim for Eduardo Camavinga, Kingsley Coman, and Kylian Mbappe to Manchester United have been dubbed “outrageous” by journalist Dean Jones.

In the transfer market, what does Jassim have in mind for Man United?
Although Sir Jim Ratcliffe currently seems to be in the lead, Jassim is still in the running to complete an Old Trafford takeover from the Glazers. The Qatari organisation led by Jassim, according to reports, might make an impromptu bid for the Red Devils.

Christian Falk previously speculated that, should Jassim become manager of Manchester United, he would consider moves for Mbappe, Coman, and Camavinga, all players currently playing for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, respectively.

Jones called the “leaks” “outrageous” but acknowledged that they frequently contain a “element of truth” when speaking to GiveMeSport about the rumours.

It seems incredibly absurd and unbelievable. Nevertheless, the majority of leaks do contain some truth.

“Even if this is just a fantasy, I’m sure this has been brought up somewhere along the way,” the speaker said.

Ratcliffe currently appears to be in the lead in the takeover race, so Jassim must first outmanoeuvre him in order to secure a deal for United. This seems to be a challenging task at the moment.

However, Jassim appears to have big plans for the Red Devils, which could be music to Erik ten Hag’s ears if he is successful in making an 11th-hour bid. According to earlier reports, Jassim wanted “things done quickly” so that they could aid Ten Hag in the transfer market, with Jude Bellingham being mentioned as a potential target in the past.

The French trio could help United regain its preeminence because Jassim clearly wants the best players on the roster at Old Trafford. In comparison to Coman’s valuation of €65 million and Camavinga’s respectable €60 million, Mbappe has a staggering €180 million on Transfermarkt.

Therefore, signing any of the three could cost a fortune, but they would undoubtedly be well received by United fans in general, particularly if Mbappe were involved. The signing of the forward would undoubtedly make a statement because he “has the club stature to become the top player in the world” and has the potential to surpass all other scorers in World Cup history, but Jones notes that these claims seem “pretty outrageous and far-fetched.”

They might be people to watch if Jassim is successful in getting his way and seizing power in Manchester, but if the Glazers choose Ratcliffe, they might be people to forget.
