Man United ‘offensive’ for player now underway – Ready to pay €60m for player

Manchester United is prepared to spend €60 million this summer to sign defender Kim Min-jae from Napoli, and a “offensive” has already begun.

Corriere dello Sport claims that a deal can be reached if Manchester United contact the club at the end of the season.

They go on to say that Cristiano Giuntoli, the director of football at Napoli, is preparing for a busy year because several of the Italian team’s prized players could be the target of interest from major European clubs.

If Manchester United “knocks with their feet” while holding a €60 million offer for the defender, Kim is one of them, and the only other choice is to discuss a deal.
Although there has not been any direct communication between the parties involved, it is believed that the transfer “could be done quickly” because of the fact that the process has already begun.

Although they would be sorry to see the defender go, Napoli understands that there is a significant capital gain to be made on a player they paid €18 million for a year ago.

After the player’s impressive season, Manchester United is more than eager to sign him and is “waiting to know the real amount” they’ll have to pay. This transfer is becoming more likely to take place.
