Man United star poised to follow Ronaldo to Al Nassr this summer

Alex Telles, a loanee from Manchester United, may be following in Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps by considering a move to Al-Nassr.

The left-back, who is currently on loan to Sevilla, has been playing as a centre back despite being out of his element due to a World Cup injury.

He has had trouble, though, really securing his position on the team.

It is difficult to imagine Telles joining this team again because Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have succeeded in Ten Hag’s left-back position. He might be on his way out of Old Trafford permanently.

According to Spanish journalist José A. Espina, Al Nassr has expressed interest in the Brazilian and is willing to pay at least his current salary.

He would be joining Cristiano Ronaldo, a former United teammate who left for Saudi Arabia in January of this year.

Ramón Menezes’ Brazil is not complete without Telles, who intends to pursue a career abroad.

Although a transfer to a minor league might jeopardise that goal, he has other options.

Galatasaray in Turkey and a move back to Brazil have also been mentioned in connection with the 30-year-old.

From 2014 to 2016, he played there for two seasons, making 39 appearances and scoring twice, before going on loan to Inter Milan.

Telles joined United in 2020 and has since made 50 appearances for them.

In October of that year, he made his Champions League debut against PSG, which United defeated 2-1.
