Achraf Hakimi is currently in the spotlight since Manchester United is looking for a new right defender.

Man United are willing to agree to the asking price to sign the Moroccan international from Paris Saint-Germain, according to an exclusive report by Football Insider.

One of the top right/wing backs in the world, the African superstar has proven to be reliable at the back and effective in the attacking third.

According to the news source, the player would prefer to join a Champions League team if he were to be ejected from PSG.

Chelsea is also interested in the former Inter Milan star, but they won’t be able to provide him with Champions League play next season, therefore Man Utd is now in the lead.

The Old Trafford club is prepared to pay Hakimi’s requested fee of £50-£60 million during the summer transfer window.

In Inter’s Scudetto-winning season (2020–21), the 24-year-old personally assisted in 17 goals. Additionally, he contributed 6 assists and 4 goals to PSG’s winning Ligue 1 campaign the previous year.

He was one of the FIFA World Cup’s superstars. Against European powerhouses Croatia, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal, Hakimi helped Morocco maintain a perfect record.

He scored the game-winning penalty kick against the La Roja in the Round of 16 and participated in all of his country’s games before they were eliminated by France in the semifinals.

Dalot and Wan-Bissaka don’t offer enough of an attacking danger for Manchester United, so a right back who values offence must be enticed.

Achraf Hakimi’s current contract with the French champions expires in 2026, and according to The Sun, he makes about £215,000 each week.
