Sheikh Jassim already eyeing incredible move to sign £950,000-a-week star for Man United

Sheikh Jassim, a prospective next owner of Manchester United, is apparently already considering a sensational bid to capture Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

Old Trafford’s third offer deadline has passed, and Jassim has made a final take-it-or-leave-it offer to the Glazers to take over complete ownership.

In order to assist Erik ten Hag in the transfer market, Jassim previously wanted a takeover to be completed as swiftly as possible. It appears that the Qatari group has already identified potential targets at Old Trafford, with Neymar perhaps being a significant statement signing.

The Sun knows that if Jassim’s offer is accepted, one of his first moves will be to sign Neymar in a spectacular move.

According to reports, the forward ‘would be a headline signing for the club to underline the new owners’ aspirations moving ahead,’ with PSG possibly open to bids given the player’s troubles with injury.

Setting a high standard…

Neymar makes a phenomenal €1 billion (£ 950,000) every week in Paris, so Jassim would have to demonstrate his financial clout to convince the Brazilian to move to Manchester. Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, is another player he is a “huge fan” of, thus it would seem that he has high standards for potential squad additions.

In 493 professional games for Santos, Barcelona, and PSG, the 31-year-old has 293 goals and 188 assists. He has also scored 77 goals for his country, demonstrating the talent he may bring to England.

Even though The United Stand host Mark Goldbridge wasn’t thrilled to hear that the Red Devils might be interested in Neymar, he might be happier if Sir Jim Ratcliffe were to be replaced at United by Jassim rather than Jassim. Ratcliffe has been criticised for the possibility of keeping the Glazers involved at Old Trafford.
