David de Gea, six (6) Despite making a respectable save in the first half and another early in the second, the distribution was still suspect. He must still rank among United’s worst penalty kickers in history.

Eight Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Fantastic performance. Excellent tackling; well done when bombing forward.

Lindelof, Victor 8.5 – He performed admirably without the old ball and chain next to him. If one stays and one goes, he didn’t hurt himself with this performance. Our winner of the contest. That he made the winning penalty was appropriate.

Logan Shaw 7.5 – Shaw did a fantastic job, commanding from the back.

7.5 – Diogo Dalot On that “wrong” side, I did pretty well. A great pen.

Casemiro 6 – The dismissals appear to be occurring in his head. He appears to feel targeted and is unable to play the Premier League according to his usual style. Much improved in the second half and extra time.

Jesus Eriksen 6 – Though the game wasn’t great overall, the superb pass at the end of the first half and being back on the end of the move with a shot were both excellent displays of football. Obviously not yet fully fitted.

Antony (5.5) – Quiet; had trouble getting into the game.

Bruno Fernandes 6 – Had a first-half knock that bothered him. Game was quiet by his standards.

Rashford, Marcus 5.5 – never had a significant impact. was finally through and was pulled down in ET.

Anthony Martial: 5.5 unable to enter the game. Again.

Substitutes:

Fred received a score of 6.5 for making the team look more energetic and alive.

Jadon Sancho 6: Showed flashes, but didn’t receive enough ball. took the pen with guts.

Sabitzer, Marcel 5.5 – didn’t have a big impact on the game, and the extra time free kick was terrible.

Wout Weghorst received a score of 6.5 because he performed his duties admirably.

Tyrell Malacia 6 did alright.
