Victor Osimhen of Napoli has his sights set on a summer transfer to Old Trafford, but Manchester United have been told that it won’t be simple to sign him.

Erik ten Hag is looking to expand his choices in front of goal, so Osimhen is on United’s wishlist.

According to reports, Harry Kane and the Serie A goal scorer are United’s top objectives. Although both deals are acknowledged to be extremely challenging to complete, the club has provided alternate choices because of this.

If transfers for Kane or Osimhen are not possible, The Peoples Person stated that Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Kolo Muani may be sought.

Redknapp: Manchester United might be a decent…

In an interview with TEAMtalk, Ben Jacobs mentioned players to keep an eye out for, including Goncalo Ramos, Dusan Vlahovic, and Tammy Abaraham.

Regarding Osimhen, Jacobs stated, “Manchester United are still actively searching for the traditional number nine, and everyone is buzzing about whether it will be Kane or Osimhen, but both are incredibly challenging to carry off. Osimhen has been with Napoli long enough that, despite their opposition to selling him, a transaction may be feasible.

According to Jacobs, Napoli wants to pay twice as much for Osimhen as they did for Lille. Gli Azzurri spent roughly €70 million on the 24-year-old and would request a price of between €140 and €150 million.

“When you spend a significant sum of money to sign a player, as Napoli did, they expect a financial return if they are to let the player go. Osimhen, however, has a Premier League fantasy. Osimhen has always had his eye on Manchester United, so I believe they are currently more probable than Chelsea.

Before relocating to Napoli, he actually came close to joining them but decided against it because he wasn’t confident he would get the playing time.

Regarding Kane, Jacobs reiterated that much will depend on what transpires with the club’s organizational framework in the upcoming weeks regarding the England captain’s future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kane is open to extending his stay with the North London side, but this depends on the choice of the club’s next manager and how it manages the uncertainty surrounding Fabio Paratici.

Kane desires to play in the Champions League.

Jacobs continues, “Manchester United may be taking Kane seriously in everything they do, but it’s mostly internal. And it’s sort of becoming clear where they stand on the side of the athlete.

The Reds are wary about the possibility of dealing with the no-nonsense Daniel Levy, who will make it very difficult to sign the Tottenham number nine, as United considers whether a pursuit of Kane is likely.
