Erik ten Hag’s team is interested in signing Khephren Thuram, according to Manchester United transfer rumors.

The need for a youthful defensive midfielder at Manchester United is getting more and more critical.

There is no depth at Old Trafford behind Casemiro, who is undoubtedly the best player in the world at the position.

Manchester United is reportedly now displaying interest in Khephren Thuram, according to the French outlet RMC Sport.

Khephren Thuram is a target for Manchester United.

An intriguing candidate for a possible signing is Khephren Thuram. He is in a strong position to make the transition at age 22, and his career is unquestionably advancing.

The 6’4″ midfielder earned his France debut during the most recent international break in a 4-0 victory over Wout Weghorst’s Netherlands.

Marcus Thuram, a forward for Borussia Moenchengladbach who was linked by SportBild to a January transfer to Manchester United before becoming a free agent this summer, has a sibling named Khephren.

Sadly, Khephren Thuram will be slightly more expensive. He has a deal that runs through 2025. According to RMC, his price this summer could be around £33 million, which is still reasonable for a player in his position and with his skill profile.

He interestingly represents Nice, a French team controlled by Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos, the Manchester United bidder.

He has participated in 29 Ligue 1 games this season, making two goals and four assists from his spot.

Didier Digard, his Nice manager, praised him as a “great professional,” and Frederic Gioria, his assistant, told RMC that “tactically he has made enormous progress.”

Newcastle, a rival of Manchester United, had been reportedly showing interest in him as of late last year, according to The Mail. Now that he is a France international, there will be more competition to acquire him. As summer approaches, this is one to keep an eye on.
