Paul Scholes, a former player for Manchester United, likens Alejandro Garnacho to Cristiano Ronaldo and expresses his excitement to witness him play.
With only four Premier League starts to date, Alejandro Garnacho has scored four goals and given four assists in his first complete season with Manchester United.
Due to an ankle injury, the Argentine forward is presently out but could return before the season is over.
Scholes has stated that he sees Garnacho as a future superstar in a conversation with Webby & O’Neill.
Garnacho’s enthusiasm for Scholes
Scholes has stated that Garnacho recalls him of Cristiano Ronaldo, a teammate they both had.
I’m really enthusiastic about him, he declared. I’m always in awe of him when I see him. He’s going to be a big celebrity.
He is such a brave asset. He resembles Cristiano in many ways as a youthful player. He doesn’t care if he gets kicked; he rises up, tries harder, and scores goals.
He still has a lot of growing to do, but once he develops a manly physique and physical stamina, I don’t see much halting him.
Prior to being compelled to leave the Argentina team due to an injury suffered against Southampton, Garnacho was called up to the team for the most recent international break. But doing so will only postpone his actual call-up.
Even though the winger is still only 18, this season has shown glimmers of his promise. There is still so much to be said.
At Real Sociedad early in the season, Cristiano Ronaldo assisted Garnacho on his first goal for United.
Scholes can be difficult to persuade because he is frank in his commentary. But he already has a very favorable opinion of Garnacho in his head.
