Man Utd told to avoid ‘ridiculous’ Bellingham, Rice ‘fight’ as pundit ‘prefers’ £19m midfielder

Paul Parker believes that Fulham player Joao Palhinha is a better option for Manchester United than England’s Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice.

Bellingham is one of the most sought-after players in the world of football, and Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Manchester City are all vying to acquire him.

Though it wouldn’t be too shocking to see the 19-year-old remain in Germany, a move this summer seems probable.

While Rice’s contract is scheduled to expire in 2024, he is anticipated to leave West Ham at the end of the current campaign.

Although Chelsea and Liverpool are also in the running to acquire Rice, Arsenal is currently in the lead.

A lot of midfielders are expected to move during the busy summer transfer season, and Palhinha is one player who is being added to the mix.

Before Fulham acquired the Portuguese defensive midfielder for a pitiful £19 million with little competition, he was linked with a number of Premier League teams, including United and Tottenham.

Palhinha has put on a masterful performance this year, demonstrating why he was connected with United and company, but his lack of genuine transfer interest prior to leaving Sporting for the Cottagers has everyone perplexed.

Bellingham and Rice are both box-to-box midfielders, but the 27-year-old is a different kind of player. Rice can also play as a No. 6, which is where Palhinha has thrived in the Premier League.

When Palhinha was available for less than a third of that amount last year, it would not be unusual for a team like United or Spurs to spend over £60 million on him, but Parker wants the Red Devils to do just that.

The Portuguese international, who “would be amazing” at Old Trafford, should be signed, according to the ex-United defender. Erik ten Hag should sign him.

Despite the fact that Casemiro joined the team last summer and Palhinha would probably take a backseat to the Brazilian sensation, this is the case.

Parker informed MyBettingSites, “Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes, I want Palhinha at Man United.” He’s great.

“He is Fulham’s finest acquisition in a very long time, and he would be fantastic at Man United.

He has remained reliable the entire season. He is so flexible and has so many skills that he could have played football in the 1980s and 1990s, which speaks volumes about how good he is.

He distributes very well, moves up and down, is physically strong, and makes clean tackles. Although he excels in all areas, he is not an all-around ordinary Joe; rather, he excels in every area.

He would unquestionably help Man United’s squad, that much is certain.

“I keep praising him, but he has an incredible presence; Casemiro has a similar presence at Manchester United and Fulham.

“Observe how Fulham did while he was on suspension without him. They were in need as a result of their absence of him.

Unexpectedly, Parker has asserted that United should prioritize Palhinha over Bellingham and Rice.

He continued, “I even favor him over Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice. They are English, so their price tag is completely insane.

“I don’t want Man United to take part in that absurd argument over signing a star at that price.

“In my opinion, Bellingham ought to pursue his career abroad. Although I still don’t believe we should give up on Liverpool, I think he would be fantastic at Real Madrid.

It’s important to note, however, that this is not to say that the situation is ideal. Rather, it is to state that the situation is not ideal.

They are a huge club, and almost every player wishes they were on their squad instead of one of their rivals.
