Man Utd urged to sign France star in ‘bargain’ deal with Ten Hag told he can save career of ‘wasted talent’

The investigation into a possible bargain signing of a France star who will likely be placed up for sale this summer has been encouraged by Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

Since being in control at Old Trafford last summer, the Dutchman has accomplished wonders. Indeed, the club already has a trophy in the cupboard after winning the Carabao Cup despite spending about £216 million last summer. And with the FA Cup and Europa League also in their plans, more could come before the season is over.

This summer, more money will be invested, and Ten Hag appears to have three goals in mind. Additionally, he has several strikers in mind for whom he plans to spend the majority of his money. In light of this, a report on Wednesday named the five strikers that Ten Hag is keeping an eye on this summer.

Ten Hag also wants to bolster other positions, so a new defender and perhaps a midfielder will also be added.

Ten Hag has improved their fortunes by working with and coaching the available athletes at the moment. To that end, individuals like Marcus Rashford in particular have experienced notable comebacks this season.

Other people have also profited from Ten Hag’s arrival. Indeed, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have all improved their play, and Bruno Fernandes is back to his best.

The United manager is now being supported to help Ousmane Dembele, another fallen star, get back to his best.

Ten Hag was instructed to deliver Man Utd Ousmane Dembele.

Given that his current contract is set to end in 2024, the Barcelona winger appears likely to leave this summer.

Although they haven’t reached an agreement with the winger, the Blaugrana are keen to extend him a new contract.

Additionally, the club’s continued financial restrictions could prevent Dembele from leaving if a compelling offer comes in.

He joined the team in 2017 for an eye-watering £123 million (€140 million). But due to a string of bothersome injuries, his tenure at the Nou Camp hasn’t always been at its best.

According to reports, he might be permitted to leave this summer for a price of about £44 million.

Now Saha believes United could find a deal if they gamble on Dembele, according to Betfred. And he believes Ten Hag has the coaching experience to get the most out of the 35-time France international winger.

They ought to investigate it because it would be a good deal, Saha advised.

“I would prefer players who would be a surefire triumph for Manchester United, and you can count on Dembele to score goals and provide assists. It frustrates me to see that he hasn’t realized his maximum potential.

Since there is no other player like him, Saha continued, “I see him as a potential wasted talent because the man is so excellent.

“Oh my goodness, that’s magic competition there when you see players like Jadon Sancho and Ousmane competing against one another. It would make for an amazing barrier.

The winger for Barcelona has time on his side.

Dembele, who is only 25 years old, has time on his side to get back to his best. And although he never quite reached Barcelona’s peak, his talent has never been in doubt.

Players frequently only need a change of scenery to rekindle their passion.

Dembele, however, would not be a show of goodwill. He is a player of the highest caliber, and only ailments are really getting in the way. That worries me though. Dembele has missed a total of 133 games in his six seasons at the Nou Camp.

This player has only made 178 appearances for Barcelona, so he has skipped a significant number of games.

Although his quality is undeniable, as mentioned. Dembele has contributed to 40 goals and 37 helpers in those games, or one goal every 2.3 appearances.

It is impossible to dispute those statistics for an attacker.

The time may have come for him to depart from Barcelona, though. They won’t likely stop any moves because Xavi also has alternatives on the wings in Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, and Raphinha.
