Rasmus Hojlund, an Atalanta striker, will reportedly cost Man Utd money this summer, according to sources.

Since moving from Sturm Graz to Serie A team Atalanta in a €17 million move during the summer transfer window, the Denmark international has been in outstanding form.

Hojlund has played in 23 Serie A games this season, starting in 14 of those games. The 20-year-old has scored seven goals and provided one assist.

With five goals in two games for Denmark this past week as they defeated Finland 3-1 and fell to Kazakhstan 3-2, he attracted even more notice to himself.

With a number of teams already connected with a summer transfer move for the former Copenhagen youth prospect, the Atalanta striker has a growing list of suitors.

At the moment, it appears that Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Arsenal are his three major admirers. There are rumors that the Gunners will make a “offer over €50 million” for Hojlund in the near future.

And now, the Man Utd attacker who is “bewitching” defenses in Italy, according to the Italian website Calciomercato (via Sport Witness).

Atlanta has stated that a bid of “€50-60m immediately” will be sufficient to purchase the Dane in the summer, which suggests that they want the full amount up front.

Another story from Spain, this time from Sport Witness, claims that Athletic Bilbao is considering making a “shock move” to sign Manchester United’s Victor Musa.

Journalist Luis Calabor Nunez of Radio Marca maintains that Musa is “in Athletic’s sights for the future,” and the Spanish website Bilbaohiria also reports that the La Liga team is interested in signing the youngster.

In United’s last seven Premier League under-18 games, the 16-year-old has tallied six goals, and Musa is already an England under-19 international.

Musa fulfills one of their “fundamental requirements” as they seek to bolster their squad because he was born in the Basque region of Spain.

There aren’t many players available, so the report says Bilbao “cannot miss this opportunity” to sign Musa because 2024 is the “perfect time” to do so.

The Red Devils could finish the season with two more trophies if they win the FA Cup and Europa League, but Erik ten Hag has already made waves at Old Trafford by winning a League Cup and leading the team to third place in the Premier League.

And former Manchester United player Nicky Butt praised the work the Dutchman has done at Old Trafford this year.

No matter what happens, I believe he did a great job, Butt told the Press Association. Regardless of the awards, he has been very successful if he remains in the top four.

“He’s joined a football team that was in its worst condition, football-wise, in about 20 years and was really struggling.

“The solution isn’t to keep changing coaches, as has been demonstrated at other clubs and at our club over the past ten years.

As a boss, you must maintain consistency and experience ups and downs. You can be sure that there will be another difficult period, but he is an excellent teacher and appears to have been made for Old Trafford.
