Man Utd ready to agree £84,000 a week deal for signing – Could do crazy things

The most recent information emerging out of Italy is intriguing as it relates to Manchester United’s intense interest in Kim Min-Jae of South Korea and Napoli.

The Red Devils may “do crazy things” to sign the Serie A star in the summer transfer season, according to yesterday’s Corriere dello Sport report.

The Naples-based party, according to the Rome-based source, wants to extend Min-Jae’s contract and change the release clause in it.

Man Utd are prepared to reach an agreement on a contract worth £84,000 per week (5 million euros per season) to acquire the 26-year-old in the summer, according to Ciro Venerato.

The Old Trafford team is not the only one competing to sign the Asian talent, though. According to the Italian writer (via CalcioNapoli24):

The most interested parties are Liverpool, Manchester United, and PSG, who are prepared to promise him €5 million net per season in exchange for paying the release clause, which ranges from €50 to €70 million.

With only 16 goals allowed in 27 games, Napoli has the best defensive record in the Italian division this season, and their Korean star has been outstanding.

Min-Jae has so far contributed to Spalletti’s side keeping thirteen league clean sheets and four in the UEFA Champions League.

Man Utd have given up more goals in 26 games this season than they did in the previous one despite adding Lisandro Martinez and Malacia to their defense last year.

Erik ten Hag must therefore bolster the division further, and Kim Min-Jae would be a good addition.
