Ten Hag crazy about sneaky €100m Man Utd transfer that’ll deliver dagger to Chelsea with No 7 shirt reserved for star

After asking about the potential of transferring a Chelsea favorite to Old Trafford, it has been rumored that Manchester United is considering the most shady of summer transfers.

With Dutch coach Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils are on the rise and already hold the Carabao Cup. With the team having advanced to the FA Cup semifinals and the Europa League quarterfinals, they will also have high expectations of adding to their trophy collection.

Additionally, they are currently third in the Premier League and appear to be in a good position to achieve their top goal for the upcoming campaign: a return to the Champions League.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, will have more money this summer as a result.

The Red Devils are concentrating on three key recruits this summer in order to achieve that. Ten Hag is looking for a new front-line striker to lead the line, a new midfielder to pair with Casemiro, and a different defender who can play multiple positions.

According to a story published on Thursday morning, Ten Hag is leading the effort to bring in a midfield beast.

Axel Disasi of Monaco and France appears to be the club’s top choice in terms of a defender.

Yet what is taking up the majority of column inches is the introduction of a new adversary.

There are many connections between people like Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, and Goncalo Ramos.

Yet according to rumors on Thursday afternoon, Ten Hag might be prepared to broaden his quest.

And they appear to have a significant advantage over Chelsea in the pursuit of a target now that Champions League play is on the horizon.

Man Utd is attempting to beat off Chelsea for Joao Felix.

Journalist Sergio Picos claims that United are attempting to recruit Joao Felix before the Blues.

The Portuguese star overcame a difficult start to his loan at the club—he received a red card on his debut—to emerge as a formidable force for Chelsea.

In fact, he has scored twice in nine club outings, but he continues to improve with each match.

Todd Boehly, a co-owner of Chelsea, is consequently already preparing to convert his loan into a long-term agreement.

To that purpose, the Blues and Atletico Madrid have already begun discussing the trade. Atlei are still asking for a sum of about £87.4 million (€100 million), despite having no future at the Rojoblancos.

Picos now asserts that Manchester United is attempting to sabotage the agreement with Ten Hag, a fervent supporter.

Speaking to AS, he asserts that United are also willing to offer Felix Cristiano Ronaldo’s old No. 7 jersey.

He stated of Felix, “Manchester United has always been the club who has been there to watch, who has asked about him.

“Since Cristiano left, you don’t have a famous name up front either. The Portuguese player might not look out of place wearing the number 7 that Cristiano Ronaldo wore for Manchester United.

Felix would be a surprise addition to Manchester United.

If United were to sign Felix before Chelsea, it would be a serious setback for the Blues. Given Ten Hag’s obvious desire to sign a pure No 9, it would also be a great shock.

There is no doubt that Felix, who is more of a No 10, is not that player. Furthermore, he is not even close to as productive as artists like Kane or Osimhen, who would likewise demand that kind of payment.

In fact, if they went after Felix, it would seriously question their ability to sign another forward. There is, of course, the option of signing both. How would that transaction, though, impact their capacity to sign, say, a world-class midfielder as well?

Hence, despite Picos’ assertions, it does not appear realistic that United will consider Felix as a possible option.

At Chelsea, where he seemed to have found a new home for himself, the player also exudes immense happiness. The last thing Felix needs is to relocate to yet another unfamiliar setting amid the ambiguity surrounding his future at Atletico. He does, in fact, require a period of calm and the opportunity to perform at a club where he feels comfortable and valued.

Because of this, a permanent move to Stamford Bridge appears to be the most likely result.
