Due to the negligible release clause in Kim Min-contract, jae’s Manchester United may make a serious attempt to acquire him this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The center-back cost €18 million when he transferred from Fenerbahce to Napoli last summer, and since then, he has been a revelation for them with a number of standout performances.
Due to the €50 million foreign release clause in his contract, Calciomercato claims that United ‘can be serious’ about signing him this summer based on his improvement.
Napoli is currently in conversation with the player’s support group. By “removing or boosting the figure of the clause,” they want to give him a better bargain.
Kim Min-jae would be a fantastic addition.
When he joined Napoli, Kim Min-jae was comparatively unknown, but he has since improved his reputation with a number of standout performances for both club and country.
In Serie A this season, the South Korean has completed an astounding 91% of his passes. Also, he has made four clearances and nearly two tackle wins per every outing.
Other from this, he has prevailed in around 70% of his aerial battles. The 26-year-old would, in our opinion, have no trouble adjusting to the demands of the Premier League.
Harry Maguire might be leaving this summer, so Min-jae might be added to challenge Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez for the starting position.
By trade, Min-jae is a right-footed defender, but he is at ease in both of the central defense positions. At that cost (€50m), it seems like a no-brainer for United to sign him.
For the time being, United can only wait until July and hope that the defender keeps up his resistance to the idea of signing a new deal with the lopsided Serie A leaders.
