Ten Hag ready to make top transfer target’s “dream” come true

Victor Osimhen, a target for Manchester United, has reiterated his ambition to play in the Premier League.

The Nigerian goal striker, who has had a stratospheric rise to fame over the past few years, spoke about his aims during an awards event.

According to Osimhen, who was reported by The Athletic, “I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is a wonderful sensation for me.

“Although many people around the world view the Premier League as the best and strongest league, I currently play in the Italian Serie A, one of the best leagues in the world.

“I’m working extremely hard to ensure that I one day realize my ambition of competing in the Premier League, but as I said, it’s a process and I just want to carry on this momentum and keep doing well,” the player stated.

The player has already stated his desire to play in England’s premier league, as The Peoples Person noted last week.

Osimhen expressed admiration for Italian supporters of Serie A, calling them the “greatest” in the world.

He said, “Italy plays a distinct brand of football. Naturally, the fans are very loud and the action is really fierce.

“Even when we’re not playing, they want to demonstrate their love and respect for the players when they pass them on the street or in a restaurant, and they want to wish them well and keep on supporting them. Serie A is, in my opinion, the greatest in this regard.

Since Erik ten Hag has few choices up front, Osimhen has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer.

While loan signing Wout Weghorst has shown impressive work ethic, his lack of quality makes it unlikely that he will stay at Old Trafford on a long-term basis. Anthony Martial has been injured since God were a boy.

Harry Kane’s camp is reportedly in communication with United about a possible transfer, but Victor Osimhen is right there with him on the shortlist as the Red Devils attempt to address their top problem position.

Osimhen’s €150m price tag makes signing him a challenging proposition, and player sales would probably be required to cover the cost.

But, the striker’s incredible performance this year and outstanding mix of skills would make him a lethal addition to Ten Hag’s assault.
