Man United set to make approach for explosive South American forward valued at £100m

Man United are tapping into the idea of signing Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid as their next marquee footballer. The Red Devils had a pretty successful summer transfer market, and they will continue to rebuild their squad in the next few transfer windows.

The Dutch coach has been given the task to restore Man United’s glory days, and he has been promised to be funded sufficiently to back up his efforts. Erik ten Hag already broke the bank to sanction the arrivals of Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez and Antony in the summer.

But the fund injection won’t stop here as Man United are destined to welcome a few more entrants over the course of the next couple of transfer windows. Roping in a forward has been the Dutch manager’s priority as his current crop of attackers have not managed to build that kind of rapport in the attacking third.

In addition, the impending departure of Ronaldo would create a major void which needs to be filled pretty soon. Ronaldo’s recent interview could entangle him with a legal hassle as the club is contemplating tearing up his deal which would also allow them to make room for another footballer.

Brazil international has been Real Madrid’s trump card for the last couple of years, and Los Blancos would use all their resources to block his move from the club. The South American attacker has reportedly already signed a new deal committing another five years to Real Madrid.
