Man Utd set to make approach for 24-year-old Bundesliga playmaker

Man City and Man United are gearing up for a challenge to land Dani Olmo. But that won’t be an easy task, given Barcelona’s interest in the RB Leipzig playmaker. Spain international arrived in Germany in the winter 2020 when the Bundesliga giants came calling for his service.

Olmo has been a key part of their setup and will also be taking part in the 2022 FIFA World Cup as Spain coach Luis Enrique is believed to be an admirer of the footballer. Despite his efficiency, Dani has not attracted much attention surprisingly as the German club have managed to keep hold of him as of now.

But the 24-year-old playmaker will be the subject of some intense transfer speculation next summer. And it stays to be seen how RB Leipzig tackle the situation.

The Red Devils have been on a rollercoaster ride as the Dutch manager has steadied the boat as of now.

Man United have put together a sequence of an eight-match unbeaten run and are knocking on the door of the top four. But Bruno Fernandes’s underwhelming form could be a matter of concern as the Red Devils have a pretty tough road ahead. Donny van de Beek has not really jumped to the occasion to grab his chances.

And recent reports have claimed that Man United might cash in on him amid interest from Valencia and others.

The Spanish playmaker will enter the final year of his deal next year, and it would be a good chance for the Bundesliga giants to earn some fast money by agreeing on a move for him.
