On November 26th, Marca stated João Félix is close to leaving Atlético Madrid in the next window and Manchester United are in the mix to sign him.

AS on Friday explains the Red Devils are back in the transfer race after seeing a €130m bid rejected by the La Liga side in the summer.

It’s claimed Manchester United are one of the three clubs ‘most interested’ in securing the 23-year-old’s services in January.

The Portugal international’s relationship with Diego Simeone is so tense that it is broken. The conflict has reached to a point that only one of them can continue at the club and it is the forward who will be heading towards the exit door.

Los Rojiblancos, for their part, have already set a price tag of €100m, including bonuses. The newspaper states this is amount Félix’s agent Jorge Mendes will present to Atlético and they would accept it.

Manchester United will have to battle with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich to sign the former Benfica star. PSG, through their advisor, Luis Campos, have directly contacted the player who is currently with the national team at the World Cup.

The FIFA tournament in Qatar is a platform for Félix to showcase his qualities. At the same time, AS add that Erik ten Hag’s side, PSG and Bayern are ‘positioning themselves to pay €100m to the Spanish club.
