Man United are chasing the signing of Victor Osimhen and will push for a move in the summer. Newcastle United are also eyeing his service and will be engaged in a stiff transfer battle. Nigeria international has been at the top of his game and has led Napoli’s Serie A title charge this season with nine goals and three assists.
Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has already insisted he is set to sell Victor but only if his demands are met. The Serie A giants will only be answering calls to the party who will be ready to meet their €100m plus a valuation of Osimhen.
The Red Devils have shaped up several attacking targets for next summer and the 23-year-old striker tops the list. The Dutch manager wants to have a different profile for his number nine position, and the Nigerian centre-forward would be a perfect signing to his already envious attacking lineup.
Ronaldo could be shown the door in winter, but Man United might have to wait till summer to trigger a bidding war among the suitors. The Red Devils have been on a bumpy run but have done well in the PL and are on the verge of breaching into the top four. It will be interesting to see if they can beat Newcastle in the €100m race to add Osimhen.
