Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are both reportedly interested in signing Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae next year.
The 26-year-old only made the move to Napoli in July following one season at Fenerbahce, and he has featured on 20 appearances in all competitions for the Italian side this term, scoring twice.
Min-jae has a contract in Naples until the end of the 2024-25 campaign, although there is the option from both sides to extend the deal until June 2027.
The defender is currently with the South Korea squad at the 2022 World Cup, where he will be bidding to add to his 44 caps for the national team.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Juventus are keeping a close eye on his form, having been impressed by his displays during the 2022-23 campaign.
Brighton & Hove Albion and Fulham have been credited with an interest, while Man United and Tottenham are also believed to be monitoring his performances.
Konur claims that Napoli will not listen to offers during the January transfer window, but he could potentially be available for transfer next summer.
Min-jae has scored twice in 14 Serie A appearances this season, while he played all six of his side’s matches in the group stage of the Champions League.
Napoli advanced to the knockout round of the European Cup as section winners, while they are currently at the top of the Serie A table, eight points clear of second-placed AC Milan.
Man United are not currently in the market for a new central defender, but Harry Maguire is currently being linked with a move away from the club.
The 20-time English champions are believed to be prepared to let their current captain leave next summer, which would see them enter the market for a new centre-back.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are expected to sign a new central defender in January, with Villarreal’s Pau Torres being strongly linked with a switch to the club.
Min-jae began his career at Gyeongju KHNP before making the move to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, and he then represented Beijing Guoan ahead of a switch to Fenerbahce.
