Manchester United have to get rid of club legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, whose explosive interview has shocked the team.

The Red Devils are already looking to replace the Portuguese international and reports suggest that they are targeting the signing of Kylian Mbappe.

According to a story recently covered by The Mirror, the Old Trafford club are accelerating plans to sign a new striker to replace Ronaldo and they are interested in luring the Paris Saint-Germain superstar.

The renowned British media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd can agree huge terms worth £500,000-a-week, the same salary as Ronaldo, to hire the services of Mbappe.

However, it must be noted that in the summer, the French international agreed a new contract with PSG and earns a mammoth wage of around £650,000-a-week (The Mail).

Yes, the Les Bleus star wants to leave but I doubt that he would be willing to take a huge pay cut to move to United, who are not even taking part in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Mbappe is one of the best players in the world. At the age of 23, he has already won the World Cup, UEFA Nations League and multiple domestic titles at club level. However, he is yet to win Europe’s Premier club competition.

In the current campaign, the former Monaco boy has made 20 appearances so far, scored 19 goals and also provided 5 assists.
