Manchester United have to reinforce their strike-force to eventually replace Cristiano Ronaldo and the name of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is on their radar.

According to Media Foot, Man Utd are very serious about signing the Cameroonian center forward, who has been in sensational form for Bayern Munich this term.

The African star’s current deal with the Bavarians will expire next summer and the German champions are looking to reward him with a new contract.

At the moment, the former Paris Saint-Germain striker is earning around £63,000 a week at the Allianz Arena (The Sun).

In the current campaign, so far, Choupo-Moting has started 3 games in the Bundesliga, scored 3 goals and also provided a couple of assists.

In the UEFA Champions League, the veteran forward has found the net in just 2 starts. On Tuesday night, he was on the scoresheet against Italian giants, Inter Milan.

In the DFB Pokal, he has directly contributed in 3 goals (2 goals and 1 assist) in just a single start. The in form goal scorer has found the net every 76 minutes for Bayern.

At Old Trafford, Ten Hag must sign a young and quality striker, who can serve the club in the long run. We do not need short term solutions.

It will be shocking if Man Utd opt to sign Choupo-Moting, who will turn 34 next year, to replace soon to be 38, Ronaldo. What do you think?
