Man United are planning to intensify their search for a right-back and have identified Norwich defender Max Aarons as their next target. The Red Devils have prioritised a right-back for quite a long time as they want to introduce some serious competition for Dalot, who has set himself as the preferred choice on the right side of the back-line.
Wan-Bissaka has not played much and is currently recuperating from an injury. Man United have been looking for a possible suitor for him. And should they get a chance in winter they will offload Wan-Bissaka to the buyer.
The Dutch manager is happy with the way his team has performed but insisted he wants more cover in his fullback position after Man United’s 1-0 win against West Ham United in the PL.
The Red Devils have a long-standing interest in Max, and despite his tender age, the defender is vastly experienced. The Canaries are currently playing their trade in the Championship, and the lure of getting regular PL football would be too hard to reject for Aarons.
A bid in the region of £15m should be enough to tempt Norwich into selling their most talented product in the winter transfer window. The Canaries are currently fifth in the Championship table. And should they feel they have an outright chance of promotion to the top flight, it would be pretty hard for the Red Devils to convince them.
