According to El Nacional (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United are looking to seal a deal for PSG superstar Neymar Jr.

The Red Devils let go of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sunday after the recent failings of the club. The club forked out massive money to bring Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, and Jadon Sancho to the club, but they are yet to reap the dividends of the investment.

Moreover, the Norwegian was unable to find an ideal attack partnership. Sancho has been in and out of the squad while Jesse Lingard could leave the club after failing to garner minutes.

Anthony Martial looks off the paces while Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford are yet to come out of their shell. Edinson Cavani has looked good when he has played but shall be out of contract next summer. Ronaldo is firing on all cylinders as expected. 

However, it looks like the club are already planning to add more firepower to the frontline. The Old Trafford outfit are plotting a sensational move for PSG star Neymar Jr. 

The Brazilian broke all transfer records when he signed for the French club in 2017 for an earth-shattering €222million. Since then, been brilliant for the Parisians, contributing to 145 goals in 128 appearances across all competitions.
