Mason Greenwood is seeking a job at Manchester United, and according to the most recent sources, Juventus has the go-ahead to complete the transfer.
The English attacker is presently on loan at Getafe, but the Old Lady thinks they can sign him, according to today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image given below).
Cristiano Giuntoli, the sporting director, is “convinced” that Juventus has the “green light” to acquire Red Devils forward Greenwood.
Even after his outstanding performances in Spain, he is aware that many fans of the Premier League team do not want to see the 22-year-old winger return to the team.
The youthful playmaker has helped Getafe win six games this season and scored 10 goals in all competitions.
Greenwood has personally contributed to more goals than Marcus Rashford, the highest paid player at Old Trafford.
He helped his club defeat Almeria 3-1 away from home over the weekend with a pair of goals and an assist.
He is a prolific attacker that United needs to bolster things up front, but it is probable that he will be moved because of assault charges.
The England international would be free to depart for a reported £40 million (GiveMeSport).
Guintoli’s main goal, according to Gazzetta, is to entice an offensive winger. Though he didn’t succeed in getting Berardi last summer, he thinks Greenwood would join.
What say you? Should Man Utd sell £40 million-rated Mason Greenwood to Juventus?
