Man Utd secure just £1.6million contract for signing, must thank the player

At the FIFA World Cup, Sofyan Amrabat was the finest defensive midfield player, and several teams expressed interest in signing him for the upcoming season.

But instead of accepting any of the approaches from potential suitors, he decided to sign with Manchester United.

The international Moroccan said:

“I am a person who always follows my heart, and I am currently a representative of the club of my dreams.”

Amrabat is a season-long loanee of the Red Devils. Man Utd will cover his entire salary; according to Football Transfers reports, he receives just 1.9 million euros (£1.6 million) year.

As a result, he will make about £1.6 million during his loan period and might receive a greater offer should the Old Trafford team decide to make the move permanent the following year.

The 27-year-old midfielder passed on the opportunity to relocate to Saudi Arabia and increase his income, preferring to wait for Ten Hag instead of accepting Al-Ahli.

In addition, he could have made more money than he was earning on deadline day by moving to Fulham on a permanent basis, but he chose to wait for Manchester United.

He spent the entire summer warming up the Fiorentina bench by himself, but in the end, he pulled off his ideal move.

Amrabat has made a greater sacrifice to join Manchester United than any player I have seen in recent years, and the Premier League’s biggest clubs should be grateful.
