Altay Bayindir, the custodian, has “said goodbye to Fenerbahce” in preparation for his rumoured transfer to Manchester United.

Journalist Yaz Sabuncuolu claims that the player has made yet another step towards finalising his transfer to Old Trafford.

After losing David de Gea, Manchester United is looking to replace him with another custodian this summer so that Andre Onana would have competition.

With Dean Henderson out injured and said to be leaving the club, competition is needed, and Erik ten Hag and his staff appear to have chosen Bayindir.

Over the past week or two, a deal has been progressively moving forward, and yesterday it was claimed that Manchester United was paying his release clause to expedite the process.
It was then revealed today that a second medical in England had been planned and that Manchester United had been pursuing the player for two months. In that, it was mentioned that the player had already completed a medical prior to the move.
Following that, Yaz Sabuncuolu claims that the player has’said farewell to Fenerbahce’ in preparation for his transfer to Old Trafford.

He and everyone else involved are of the opinion that the move is almost complete and that it will be completed soon.
