Man Utd ready to submit the right bid to sign £102.6million star

Victor Osimhen’s name has recently come to light in relation to Manchester United’s ongoing search for a top-tier striker.

Aurelio de Laurentiis, president of Napoli, will meet with the forward’s agent to discuss the future, according to today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (press image provided below).

The Naples-based team wants to keep hold of their prized possession, but if a “indispensable proposal” that could boost the club’s financial situation is made, it will be evaluated.

The agent for Osimhen will be presented with De Laurentiis’ proposal for a new contract while also requesting information about the “actual amount” needed to sell the Nigerian player this summer.

The 24-year-old is sought after by Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain, among others. According to GdS, Man Utd is waiting for the right time to make the appropriate offer to sign him.

Italian champions want at least 120 million euros (£102.6 million) from his sale, according to their asking price.

Having scored thirty one goals across all competitions, Osimhen took home the Serie A Golden Boot award last season after scoring twenty-six goals.

Since Robin van Persie’s feat in the 2012–13 season, no Man Utd player has won the Premier League’s Golden Boot award.
