Manchester United are very interested in signing Joao Felix and today, we have another update coming from Spain.

Last week, Marca revealed that the Red Devils are best placed to hire the services of the Portuguese international from Atletico Madrid.

Today, the renowned Spanish news source have mentioned (news image provided below) that the transfer saga is now entering the decisive phase.

The Rojiblancos are preparing for the departure of the 23-year-old attacker, who is fed up with his relationship with Argentine boss, Diego Simeone.

As per Marca, Man Utd are very interested in signing Felix and Atletico are expecting an offer from them to arrive before deadline (January 31). In the next few days, agent, Jorge Mendes, will bring in proposals to finally settle the situation.

The Colchoneros are craving to get a fee of 100 million euros but United do not intend to pay such an amount in the January transfer window.

Therefore, Atletico are open to the option of sending Felix to Old Trafford on loan to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who has recently joined Saudi side, Al-Nassr.

La Liga returned at the weekend and the Seleccao playmaker found the net against Elche to help his team earn all three points.

The £255,000 a week star (The Sun) has mostly warmed the bench this term but it must be remembered that he has netted 4 goals in the last three outings for the Wanda Metropolitano outfit and had an impressive World Cup campaign for Portugal.
