Manchester United have ‘serious interest’ in signing 25-year-old Spaniard – €60m will seal the deal

SportBild reported last week that Dani Olmo of RB Leipzig had been questioned by Manchester United about his future plans and that he was considering switching teams during the summer transfer window.

With 22 games played this season, the Spain international, who can play on both sides and as an offensive midfielder, has eight goals and five assists.

Manchester United is reportedly one of the teams in the picture to recruit the 25-year-old, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Barcelona sporting director Deco met with Olmo’s father Miguel and his representatives, Andy Bara and Juanma López, earlier this week. Following the discussion, there was goodwill among the parties.

The former youth star is regarded as a top target for the next La Liga season, and the team is serious about getting him back to the fold. Another thing that attracts the Catalan club to him is his adaptability.
Deco is aware that Olmo has a €60 million clause and Leipzig will not drop the price. The Spanish powerhouses must overcome this challenge in order to persuade the German team.

The athlete doesn’t appear to be happy with Leipzig’s endeavour. Olmo hasn’t given up on “studying interesting offers” and is willing to go.

Manchester United is then featured in the article along with the fact that Barcelona isn’t the only team vying for players.

Although Manchester United is the squad that has “shown serious interest,” there has been discussion about Manchester City, according to Mundo. Bayern Munich and an unidentified English team are reportedly interested in the attacker.

The Red Devils may make it more difficult for Barcelona to sign the Leipzig star.
