‘Absolutely amazing’: Roy Keane so impressed by one Manchester United player against Liverpool today

After Manchester United’s draw with Liverpool at Old Trafford, when Erik ten Hag’s team punished the visitors for not taking their chances, Roy Keane said he was impressed by one guy.

You could not have predicted anything other than a resounding victory for Liverpool on Sunday if you had only looked at Manchester United’s first-half performance in isolation.

In the first forty-five minutes, United were completely overwhelmed. And with that, they would have considered themselves quite lucky to be behind just 1-0 at halftime.

In the first twenty-five minutes of the second half, Liverpool had plenty of opportunities, and the home team made sure they paid for it.

Bruno Fernandes struck an outrageous first-time effort from 40 yards to tie the score. Although that was a fantastic goal, it was nothing in comparison to what happened next. Roy Keane praises the Manchester United player as “amazing.” With a magnificent strike that found the top corner, Kobbie Mainoo unleashed his inner Federico Macheda to give United the lead.

He didn’t leather the ball, but it was still a hit. Caoimhin Kelleher was unable to even come close to the endeavour. Keane Mainoo Ash Donelon/Manchester United photo courtesy of Getty Images Sadly for Mainoo, Mohamed Salah’s late equaliser meant that it was not the winner.

Nevertheless, Roy Keane gave him high praise when he spoke with Sky Sports following the end of play (televised on July 4 at 17:37). ADVANCED STORIES OF MANCHESTER UNITED “Not awful at all for a midfielder who sits? He has now scored a few goals for us to witness.

His initial touch, though, is crucial in this. Once more, his awareness, finishing touch, great goal, and truly incredible strike,” he remarked. Thus far, Kobbie Mainoo has passed every test. At this point, you have to wonder if Mainoo is limited in anything.

It is very simple to overlook the fact that, prior to this season, the eighteen-year-old had only three first-team appearances. Mainoo appears to be a man with a lot of strings attached. And he has now given Ten Hag’s players a couple of significant goals.

At this point in his career, United will be careful not to ask too much of him. However, the boy is currently overcoming every obstacle that has been placed in his path.
