The Red Devils are prepared to fulfil the termination clause in order to entice the Samba centre half, according to other reports from Italy.
According to Gazzetta, United appears committed to acquiring the Bremer, particularly if they can qualify for the Champions League the next season.
The Old Trafford team currently trails Aston Villa, who hold the final CL qualification slot, by eleven points. Next season, England may have an extra CL spot, but Spurs are in the lead to claim it, with Man Utd eight points behind the north Londoners.
