Considering how talented this squad is, it must be quite frustrating for supporters to watch them be so inconsistent. However, Rasmus Hojlund was frequently left out in the open by United’s performance, and players like Alejandro Garnacho were unable to find their feet.

Thankfully, Andre Onana was excellent once more, making a crucial double save to stop Brentford in one instance. Even if it appears unlikely that Ten Hag will leave Manchester United before the end of the current campaign, it’s getting harder and harder to picture him leading the team the next year.
