Sir Jim Ratcliffe has now suggested a midfield player that Manchester United would want to sign. The team is anxious to add a midfield player this summer.
One area at Old Trafford which Manchester United is anticipated to be interested to bolster this summer is the midfield department.
It’s possible that Christian Eriksen and Casemiro will leave the team this summer. Eriksen has expressed his dissatisfaction with his current bit-part role previously.
If both depart, this may result in one or more additions, and a report has already surfaced revealing Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s choice to join the midfield group.
Here’s what we know about Manchester United’s pursuit of a midfield player:

Ratcliffe has suggested that the Old Trafford recruitment staff give Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall a serious look because a midfielder is expected to be signed this summer.
Ben Jacobs, a 90-minute writer, claims that United has now inquired about a £25 million bargain deal of Dewsbury-Hall, a player with goals higher than his present level.

Should Leicester City, by some miracle, fail to get promoted to the Premier League, the fee tipped is £25 million; if they succeed, the charge is £40 million.
Ratcliffe is said to have expressed interest, telling the hiring team that a player with Dewsbury-Hall’s calibre may provide “value and versatility.”
According to BBC Sport, Leicester may also be pressured into a transaction with PSR compliance in mind after the Premier League accused the Foxes of a violation.
Dewsbury-Hall, on the other hand, may have the opportunity to fulfil his dream of competing for a spot in the England team because joining United would increase his chances of being called up.
In Manchester United, where does Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall slot in?
According to WhoScored, Dewsbury-Hall has had a tremendous season for Leicester in the Championship, tallying 10 goals and 12 assists so far.
He is a versatile midfielder who can play as an eight or a number 10, maybe settling further back in a midfield with Kobbie Mainoo.
Although it is difficult to envision Dewsbury-Hall starting for United in their best lineup, he would be a good addition to the squad that includes Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Mainoo, and Mason Mount.
He would be a steal for United, fitting the homegrown quota and providing some genuine depth and talent for the rumoured lower sum of £25 million.
Even at 25, he still has room to develop and get better. Studying under Bruno is undoubtedly a wise step for him, and we’d be all for him signing on to essentially replace Eriksen.
