Man United eyeing bargain deal for skilful playmaker leading the Championship this season

Manchester United anticipates a busy summer as INEOS looks to make a statement during their first window in charge of the athletic department at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag’s team is in serious need of additions following a disorganised season that has left them lagging behind the Premier League’s chase group.

Ten Hag has had a lot of problems with United’s goal-scoring ineptitude, as his forwards have mostly underperformed this season.

According to 90min.com, United is reportedly considering a deal for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, an offensive midfielder for Leicester City, in order to increase the team’s creative production.

The Englishman played a crucial role in The Foxes’ successful return to the Premier League through promotion, but following a bad run of play, Enzo Maresca’s team is now struggling to maintain their position in the top two.

United is interested in Dewsbury-Hall because he may be available for a low cost if Leicester is unable to return to the top level.

In addition, the Championship team will need to balance the accounts come summertime since they were recently accused of violating the Profitability and Sustainability guidelines.

With his potential to be a wise addition to the team, the 25-year-old may just need a cost of £25 million to complete the transaction.

After rejecting Brighton’s January £20 million offer, Leicester was expecting for a total of about £45 million. But now that promotion is no longer a certain, United could be tempted to outshine Brighton in the summer.

With ten goals and twelve assists so far this season, Dewsbury-Hall will be eager to ensure Leicester’s return to the Premier League before making a decision on his future.

As they look to pursue Aston Villa and Tottenham in an effort to get to the Champions League the next season, United will also be concentrating on a good conclusion to a dismal year.

After their exciting 4-3 victory over Liverpool last weekend, United was drawn to play Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-finals. Like them, they will be aiming for a triumphant conclusion to their season.
