After fruitful negotiations with INEOS, Bruno Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, will remain at Old Trafford. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the’very fantastic news’ for the Red Devils.

Erik ten Hag became the Portugal international captain before the current season began, and since joining the Manchester team from Sporting CP, he has surely been one of their best players.

It will be crucial for INEOS to keep the 29-year-old at the club while they establish themselves, and it doesn’t appear probable that he will stay with the Red Devils.

Verified by Fabrizio Romano, Fernandes is “good news.”

I want to remain at Old Trafford, Fernandes

While on Portugal’s international team, Fernandes addressed the media earlier this week regarding his future at the club. The former Sporting star said he had had encouraging conversations with INEOS and that he was looking forward to working under the new management.

Italian journalist Romano reaffirmed in his Daily Briefing that Fernandes is content at Old Trafford and won’t be leaving the team this summer.

Bruno Fernandes, on the other hand, is staying put as he has openly discussed his constructive discussions with the owners. There has never been a shift in Fernandes’ happiness at Manchester United. I’ve never heard of any real negotiations with Saudi teams, despite some of the claims we’ve seen; he’s always been focused on Man United and nothing else, to date. His conversations with the incoming INEOS employees have been excellent, and I believe this is excellent news for the club.”

Saudi Arabian clubs are apparently considering a move to recruit the Portuguese international, as Romano noted. However, if they show up with an offer on the table, they may be wasting their time. Instead of jumping ship when United is about to make a turn for the better, Fernandes will want to see the direction the team is going in under INEOS’s direction.

Fernandes reportedly rejected January proposal

Portugal-based publications suggest that Al-Hilal may try to sign Fernandes in the summer. According to reports, Fernandes turned down a staggering offer from the Saudi club during the January transfer window because he felt he still had unresolved business with United.

The 29-year-old may find the money on offer alluring, but United supporters will be optimistic that the team can hang onto him in light of his recent media remarks.
