According to Fichajes, Manchester United will have fierce competition this summer to sign Lille defender Leny Yoro.
Given the possibility that Raphael Varane would be departing the team, the Red Devils will probably add a new center-back during the upcoming transfer window.
The Frenchman’s present contract ends at the end of June, and the board currently has no intention of offering him a potential extension.
Gleison Bremer and Yoro have already been connected to United, and Fichajes reports that they are considering signing Yoro.
The publication also notes that Real Madrid has entered the contest alongside Barcelona, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, and Atletico Madrid, intensifying the battle.
Yoro would make a valuable long-term addition.
Presently, the eighteen-year-old is relishing his first full season with Lille. From his right center-back position for the French team, he has been incredibly impressive.
With a 92% accuracy rate, the teenager has completed 57 passes per league game.

Each outing, he has three clearances, 4.2 recoveries, and 67 percent of his duels won.
Yoro has the potential to develop into one of the best central defenders in the world in the future, so it wouldn’t surprise us if United considered making a move to sign him.
This summer, the French sensation will reach the last year of his contract; yet, Lille is reportedly still seeking to pay over €60 million to sell him.
Madrid’s interest may be United’s biggest source of worry. The young player already knows that the top teams in La Liga are interested in him.
We believe that if Varane parted ways, the Red Devils may persuade him to make a move by promising a starting position.
